Celebrating 50 Years
1969 - 2019
The Victoria Native Friendship Centre will celebrate on the territory of the Lekwungan Peoples on whose land we live, work and play. This year marks the 50th year of uninterrupted services for the Victoria Native Friendship Centre. To celebrate this great milestone, we invite you to enjoy this community day event September 29, 2019.
The Celebration will have different musical sounds and a diversity of traditional Indigenous performers such as singers, dancers, and drummers. Eat tasty food and drink cold beverages and enjoy the weather outside and visit our bouncy castle, photo booth, two lane obstacle course, and human foosball. There are various lawn games set up with a chance to win several prizes. Visit Arts and Crafts and Kids areas; join us for lunch and while browsing the photos from the CJPME exhibition; join in art projects and visit the vendors.
The Victoria Native Friendship Centre welcomes everyone to join our Celebration.
